Holy fuck. Was not super excited about this book going in but this was amazing. Kyrie was so cunty (complimentary) and Jack was so good. I loved everything about this book. This was one of those books that had me pacing around my apartment and kicking my legs. Gonna start shrieking like a chimpanzee or something idk. I have the zoomies.

Now listen, I’ve been in the game for a while, so it takes a lot for me to get the giggles. But this one? 🤭🤭🤭

I love dark, serial killer romances and this book DELIVERED. This book was exactly what I was looking for. It definitely gave me the same vibes as the Sinners Duet by Sophie Lark. Think: lots of blood and gore, people being turned on by murder, stalking, and tons of sex. 🥵 If you’re into that, then definitely check this one out! Our hero, Jack is a forensic anthropologist and our heroine, Kylie is a biologist. They are both professors at a college but that’s not the only thing they have in common… This book was wild and a little predictable, but very entertaining. Highly recommend!

THE FMC AND MMC ARE BOTH SERIAL KILLERS??? SIGN ME UP!
this book gave me all the feels, tragic back story, “who did this to you?”, “touch her and you’ll *literally* die”….it gave a bit of rivals-to-lovers because they were competing on both:
1. their place of work
2. that there could only be one serial killer in their area.

I love knowing that only those two characters could find love within each other…like there’s literally no one else who could understand them and accept all them except for each other.
