I really enjoyed the latter half of this book especially the chapter now I have opinions. I feel like her take on ableism and the word disabled and how people view autistic people are actually quite good and well informed. I enjoyed the snippets of science and psychology that she has throughout the book. I didn’t enjoy the first half as much but that’s maybe because I don’t relate too much to how her autistic traits showed up when she was a child. I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would considering what I’ve seen on tiktok.

This book was like having my entire childhood recounted to me by a ghost over my shoulder even down to the conversations between family and teachers. I'm extremely grateful to Paige for the courage it must have taken to share her entire life story as an autistic woman, it's done wonders for my imposter syndrome
