Just another fun book in the Agent Pendergast series. This one had it's normal sets of twists and turns but with less of the supernatural action but more of what I call the freaky action that sometimes happens to agent Pendergast. I still enjoyed it.

Good story, but had issues with the ending. That's why only 3 stars instead of 4.

What a wonderful conclusion to the series of the novels regarding what happened to Helen Pendergast. Preston and Child write chilling stories and I cannot wait for the next installment in the tales of Agent Pendergast.

Had no idea it was a series-but it was so good that I wanted to finish it so I could read the first two.

Curiously, this highly-anticipated book wasn't as good as previous books in this series. I oftentimes found myself confused by references to past occurrences (which evidently have slipped my mind). I also found Agent Pendergast to be less likeable in this outing. Nonetheless, it was a fairly entertaining read, especially since it answered at least as many questions as it raised.
