Definitely better than the first book but still far away from loving it. I thought the beginning of this book was pretty exciting but then it started to drag along somewhat during the middle part. But I liked some of the nice worldbuilding bits and also finally the humor begins to shine through.

The ending of the book again has me excited about what is going to happen next. Also loved the bloopers again and I really hope I can start saying this about any other part of this series. We seem to get a cool gang of characters together though so I think the stars might allign.

Probably could've been a faster read, but strung it out while juggling books. Lindon continues to be a very ambitious New Player outside of the tutorial area where other players sacred artists are protective/appalled at him trying to fight anyone/anything.

Eithan has been introduced! I clicked a spoiler box I shouldn't have (fairly benign, fan art and someone saying they liked the character) and I feel like he's full of shit but he's also very entertaining. Dying at him using a perilous adventure as a training exercise.

Cradle is fun. I'll probably continue after doing Fourth Wing to get that first-in-a-series achievement for the Kindle period (was really hoping Unsouled would count for that but alas, and FW has been on my TBR list for a bit)
