I don't read many of this type of book, but really enjoyed this one, reading the last 3/4 of it in one sitting. Will definitely check out others by Milly Johnson.

Don’t get me wrong, still a very good chic lit, very much a page turner. However reading it after reading Milly Johnson’s first book, meant that it pales slightly for me. The frustration of knowing the duplicity in the plot is almost too much, I kept reading as fast as I can just to get to the point where it can be all revealed. I do like that although much was revealed at the start, there were still a few more twists to be had so it wasn’t all too fraught.

It did leave me (a mother of nearly 3 year old and 9 month old) feeling quite broody at the end of it though.

Sometimes, it doesn't matter if you know how a book is going to end by the time you've finished the first chapter. This book was a perfect example of an easy read. I really enjoyed the story, an found it made me laugh in some places, but very sad in others. Recommended if you want something nice and easy going!

This story was funny and sweet in all the right ways. I got attracted by the premise in the synopsis and the author did not fail to deliver. Each character was unique, and dynamic and the crazy was spot on.

I wanted to like this, I really did, but after 150 pages I just can't do it. The main male character is just way to cliche for me. I can't get past picturing Paul Bunyan with a horrible Scottish accent. *shiver*

As always a brilliant read. 6 days from start to finish. Milly Johnson’s book are so easy to read; this one, although predictable from the off, was easy to read and thoroughly enjoyable and feel good
