An excellently written account of the tragic deaths of seven Indigenous high school students in Thunder Bay. Tanya Talaga also provides a thoughtful and impactful introduction to the shameful residential school system. This is recommended reading for all Canadians.

This was the wake up call I needed. The only reason is isn’t rated higher is because it took a lot out of me to read it, obviously not the book’s fault. Overall really well written and I’m thankful I had the opportunity to read this.
