This was a fun book. It follows the movie very closely. I love Phillipe!

This was a really beloved movie to me when I was younger so I may have been generous with the rating, but it was really entertaining, well-written and the amounts of Dramatic Love I needed on a Sunday afternoon.

Please understand, this is a wholly unobjective, biased review. It’s based entirely on my sheer enjoyment of the experience and this book could have been written like garbage and I still would have thoroughly enjoyed it. To be clear, it’s NOT, my only disappointment was that the book didn’t come with its own attached Alan Parsons Project soundtrack cues.

Anyways, deeply, longingly yearning for your true love although you are cursed to remain always together but eternally apart is a whole vibe and this movie/book invented them, bye.
