Yeah I’m sobbing. Silvera does such a great job of weaving character story lines. Valentino and Orion were such precious main characters.

In a weird way I was kind of disappointed by the happy-ish ending, I wanted this book to break me like the first one did, and it was still so emotional just not in the way I was expecting.

And yes, the Mateo/Rufus cameo was everything I wanted it to be.

*3.5 stars*

A book, very similar to its predecessor, in how it shows the beginning of the first to die at the end, and it was definitely just as hard hitting as the other novel. I appreciate how one actually lives at the end, rather than both dying.

My only criticism is that there are too many “other” character POV’s in this one, and it definitely bloats this book a little too much.
