felt like it really needed each scene to be twice the length they were. I didn't find there to be enough room for any of the story beats or worldbuilding to really hit me at all! it sucks because it seems like there is a great story hidden in here, and I liked a lot of the concepts. the hints of deeper character moments just never really had time to happen. the art style was super fun and punchy (i also liked the color pallettes and detailwork), but it was a little goofy or anatomically off sometimes. it's got some fun stuff, but it honestly didn't work for me

REALLY good. This was reminiscent of Orlando's writing on [b:Midnighter, Vol. 1: Out|26067592|Midnighter, Vol. 1 Out|Steve Orlando|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1457368232s/26067592.jpg|46003311], so if you liked that, you'll probably like this one. He created a really interesting world and characters, and I would probably read more volumes of this, if he wrote them.
