I like a mystery where I don't figure out the ending half way into the story.

Pretty good thriller, but not sure why it’s getting so much buzz, nothing special.

Well, I didn't guess who it was until it was obvious! That's definitely a plus in my book. I liked the characterization of Lucy, she fit the situation. I also thought the podcast name and name of the book is quite clever.
Some of the hidden nature type narrative about Savvy was pretty well done (sometimes it's done way out of character in other books.) And her voice in Lucy's head was a great way to write it.

I was given a recommendation to listen on audio book because of the podcast interlaced narrative and it did not disappoint to listen. It’s the classic who done it, mystery story but I enjoyed how it was done. It was a unique listen. First couple of short chapters took a second to get into it but for an audio book, I never got bored, could easily listen, and honestly kept turning it back on instead of avoiding it on my drives to and from work. It was a unique take on the murder mystery and I really enjoyed it.
