She returns to town for her grandmother’s birthday and is confronted by a podcaster, Ben, who looks into cold cases. Over the next few weeks Lucy and Ben try to figure out who else might have killed her friend and try to piece together Lucy’s memories.
The mystery in this book was so good. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Most of the book is written from Lucy’s POV, but we also get snippets of the podcast (I’ve heard this is really cool in the audio version). The town has a bunch of great characters and I kept changing my mind the whole time about who could have done it, right up until the end when the truth was revealed.
