The interview/podcast book layout was interesting- would have been interesting if the point of view switched to a different style/character in the book.

This was a fantastic audiobook! I loved how it would actually sound like a podcast when those parts came up. It kept you guessing till the end for sure!

Favorite quote: "She would not hesitate to cut a b*tch." 🔪 Phenomenal audiobook 🎧📚. Read/listened this in one sitting.

Lucy Chase left her small town in Texas after her best friend was murdered and the whole town thought she did it. Problem is, Lucy can’t remember so she might have done it. She returns to town for her grandmother’s birthday and is confronted by a podcaster, Ben, who looks into cold cases. Over the next few weeks Lucy and Ben try to figure out who else might have killed her friend and try to piece together Lucy’s memories.

The mystery in this book was so good. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Most of the book is written from Lucy’s POV, but we also get snippets of the podcast (I’ve heard this is really cool in the audio version). The town has a bunch of great characters and I kept changing my mind the whole time about who could have done it, right up until the end when the truth was revealed.
