A new favourite! Wonderfully written with (a lot) of zany, weird hilarity with a few serious bugs thrown in to remind you of the premise. Favourite line: "it might be easier but it won't be better". I recommend this book to anyone who has struggled with some kind of mental/psychological issue. And even if you haven't, it's still a fun read.

Where do I even start with this book?

It was beautiful, hilarious, I cried while I was reading it, it was amazing.
Jenny Lawson I want to thank you SO freaking much for writing this book, as an introvert myself I completely understand everything that you’ve been through, depression sucks and I was so fucking depressed before I started reading this book, but you made my day better, now I understand that I’m not alone.

So for that, I’m incredibly grateful.

I loved this book of essays! And while I liked Jenny Lawson's earlier book, this one was even more cohesive.

I loved this book!! It was so funny and insightful. At least once a chapter, I would say to my husband, "Listen to this.... doesn't this sound just like me?!" It was very inspiring and fun to read. It made me want to be best friends with Jenny Lawson.

This is the second book by Jenny Lawson who won my heart with Let's Pretend This Never Happened. Jenny knows how to get to the heart of the matter and with brunt, beautiful hilarity. I highly recommend this book and her first one to anyone but especially to those who struggle with mental health issues as she can provide the weird humor that only we can understand.

DNF

The audiobook was not appealing and the intro was erratic.
