En ymmärrä tällaisia vertauskuvapostikorttikirjoja, ainakaan tällä tavalla tehtynä. Luin tämän 14-vuotiaana ja piti oiken toden teolla vääntää, että sain tästä jotain irti. Yritin siis pitää tästä. Voisin selata uudestaan, jos jossain törmään, mutta tuskin hypin vieläkään riemusta.

I think my expectations of this classic were a bit too high. I was actually a bit bored of it, even though it was such a short book, but I can kind of see why it has gotten so popular over time. It teaches the reader important things in life and its messages were beautiful, but the book in itself didn't really move me that much (probably because its target audience are children and young adults). At least I finally got to read it now and see what this is about.

Sin duda, es un libro con muy lindas enseñanzas, una sola cosa se puede convertir en lo más importante de tu vida si la domesticas, si te interesas por conocerla puede ser única aunque hayan mil replicas, pues -sólo con el corazón se puede ver bien, lo esencial es invisible a los ojos-.
Entiendo que es un libro para pequeños, yo lo leí muy grande y la manera en que esta escrito no hace que se convierta en mi libro favorito, ni en uno de los más preciados para mí, pero reconozco su inmenso valor. Es un golpe de realidad que me gustó mucho, el hecho de que se mencionara tantas veces que los adultos no son capaces de ver cosas realmente importantes y que sus intereses fueran netamente cuantitativos.
Siento que hubiera enriquecido muchas más el relato si se hubiera explotado más el personaje del Zorro, o que las visitas a los otros asteroides hubieran tenido más contenido, quizá más enseñanzas y más explicitas, sobre todo para un libro de niños.
