This is book two of a duet and I must say, WHAT AN ENDING! Siobhan’s character development, alongside the never-ending plot twists and turns with a huge side of dark romance is what makes her books PHENOMENAL!! I highly recommend this duet for anyone that enjoys Dark Romance.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advance complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed are my own and I have not been compensated for this review.

No bueno. Ares completely changed personalities from the first book to this one. Reading him did not give the same tone or vibes and he was my main reason for reading. I hate the “luminary” stuff, but I did enjoy the plot twists throughout.

What a thrilling and emotional conclusion to Dirty Crazy Bad!

I expected action, I expected passion, and I also expected a wonderful plot, but what I wasn't prepared for was the big emotional upheaval that surrounded one tattooed, pierced, and kinky man - named Ares.

Ares continued to surprise me throughout this entire duet, but was especially moved during the second half of this duet. I loved his character growth, but it was his big emotional surprises that kept me guessing on how he was going to react OR not react to everyone that revolved in his life that really touched me. The strife he felt, the weight he carried on his shoulders was felt by everyone around him and it rolled off the pages.

It was apparent that while Ashley was the center of the guys' worlds, Ares really took center stage when it came to how she moved forward with the whole poly relationship between Jase, Chad and Ares. It wasn't really meant to be conceited, Ares struggle just ran deeper and watching him navigate it hit right in the feels. ❤️

While Ares was a wonderful complex character, Jase was my loveable favorite- checking off all the boxes I love in a strong MC. His steadiness and strength was easily the best thing about him in this second half of the book and I adored his outlook on their shared relationship when asked how they made it work; Ashley is the center and what she wants she gets...um, yes please!! Can all men take a lesson from Jase? He's no pushover, especially when it comes to Ashley. He's the solid strength when she needs whenever she needs it. It's no wonder he's my fav.

Holy mother of twists, Siobhan Davis is one skilled and twisted genius! Dirty Crazy Bad was one heck of a ride! I honestly had no idea where she was taking me. I am still recovering from the insane twists she threw my way. My jaw is still on the floor because wow! I had my theories and thought I knew what would happen but Siobhan Davis challenged and disproved every single one.
Ash, Jase, Chad and Ares kept things sizzling hawt. I got grumpy. I got sweet. I got alpha. I mean Ashley is lacking from not a single thing from her guys. They all have something different but irresistible about them. I loved watching their relationship as it went through its growing pains. Of course, the highlight of the relationship to the part we why choose lovers look forward to the most: the ultimate group activities scene.
If you are a dark romance, why choose lover who wants to be kept on the absolute edge of your seat, this one is not to be missed!

Fantastic conclusion to the Dirty Crazy Bad duet, I love Ashely, Jase, Ares, and Chad, they are fantastic characters, the plot line had me hooked from the start and the way it all developed throughout the story was amazing. This secret society college dark romance with lots of steam is one you don't want to miss, a top read from this author for sure.

This was so much worse than the first half of this duet. It was fairly boring and incredibly predictable-polar opposite of the first one. Pity it ended on such a bad note.

I really wanted to like this duo, but I couldn’t. I don’t know what secret sauce the author put in her other books I’ve enjoyed, but this was missing it big time. I only finished it because I needed closure on a few things, but it was really hard to connect with the characters the further i read, and it felt really one dimensional .

So there will be spoilers ahead, which may be helpful for those of you who like to know who the triggers involve and what types of things do/don’t happen in this book.

So first off is that the only MMC who does the tiniest bit of groveling for shitty behavior is Chad, which happened after they rescued him from being SA’d & tortured. So if you were looking to Ares for an apology for assaulting Ashley in the first book, you won’t get it; the closest you get is him stating he manipulated her and her letting him off the hook for a bigger apology. He basically turns into an Angel right after chad leaves her. But there is absolutely no groveling or apology; she just suddenly stops hating him. Jace kinda has an explanation/apology, and it’s whatever.

Ashley still thinks she was responsible for the assault Ares did at the end of book 1. Her inner monologue is still that she cheated on Chad?

Chad is SA’d in this book. There are some more graphic scenes for it.

Lots of twists & turns, which was probably the only semi enjoyable thing to read? It kept you guessing who was on what side up to the very end.
