Fierce Queen

Wow. That took some time to finish. After finishing the first one, I IMMEDIATELY need to start this one. Around 70% it felt dragging a bit. But then I got it and the rest was quick.

My one main and only problem was Alejandro. Not him per say, more like his vocabulary. Now I speak Spanish, I’m Mexican American, do I have no problem with adding Spanish dialogue.

What bothered me was how much he used cabrón. Holy Jesus, what that his favorite word or something?? Spice it up. I know he said a couple of “hijo de putas” in there. Maybe a “puto” here and there. “Coño” a few times. But spice it up. Like 80% of his insults were “Cabrón”

Book 2 of the series was just as good No even better then the first. With Angst and drama and the HEA.

Definitely will read more from Sadie Kincaid

I absolutely loved how Alana’s and Alejandro’s story continued. This story was hotter than the first book fierce king. We got to have a lot of more backstory from characters from the first book. Elena to control in the story I love that she continued her grow into becoming a strong and confident and take no bullshit attitude that she grew into.

"I think maybe you like to give me the illusion of control, but you have it all really, don't you?"

If this book doesn't show how a Mafia King is legit putty when his Queen is around. Then I don't know how else to show it. Book 2 follows the same couple as book 1; and I'm still living for them. The spice is just as great if not better. Love the drama that is incased in this plot and then the plot twist at the end. Again read this all in one shift and I didn't put this down. Also absolutely loved this Queen of a FMC. Along with all the mafia struggles, she handled all the personal struggles that any other woman can go through. Loved every once of it.
