Have in mind that I read book one and two a while ago when reading this review...
Att first I was like omg this is the best concept ever. It all sounded so thrilling and I was so excited about the triales. Then I was reading it and it all felt rushed and confusing. And I hated the mc. This hole book felt a little unnecessary especially because I can't even understand what gott resolved by the trial and the hole premise of the book was just that. The only thing that happened was that she killed the bad guy butt she was already in captivity from the last book. And maby that she now can make it better for the belles. The very rushed ending was literally just saying that "all beaty work is now outlalwed, del with it. That don't even make any sense because they made it seem like that was impossible because the people would riot. I feel kind of disappointed. I really liked the first book and this could have been really good too. It had soooo much potential but it missed it's opportunity. It just felt flat and was not ass fleshed out ass I would have hoped-for.

So... what does it say that I didn't even notice that Edel was not the same as Camille for about half the book? This caused a LOT of confusion on my end. But once that was reconciled, I felt cheated because I didn't think Camille's story was finished.
