This is a why-choose dark romance following our heroine Rogue, and our hero's Fox, Ju, Chase, and Maverick. The story is about Rogue, going back to the town she grew up in, where she unexpectedly ends up living her childhood friends.
These boys who run the whole town have grown into protective, rich and handsome men.
This story was SLOW BURN which I loved the tension between her and the guys (especially fox 12). I really liked our heroine Rogue, she was a badass woman who always held her ground, she was fierce and didn't let anyone get in her way. She had those boys wrapped around her finger. The book was a little too long which is why it wasn't 5/5 stars but overall it was amazing. And I hope to continue on with the series.

All I can say is, read it. As I dive into book 2 knowing I’ll have to wait until the last book to not have my heart crushed, stomped on and discarded.

Our Heroine starts the book out by crawling and literally pulling herself out of a literal grave. She’s sassy, bad ass and doesn’t take shit from anyone.
I was screaming at the ending cuz ARE YOU SERIOUS. i will definitely be returning to this series.
While i do like the main characters by the end of the book - i don’t lie it took a while to get there. the authors definitely include all of the cliches surrounding “bad boys.” Lots of stereotypes throughout the book.
If you can get passed that and don’t mind a lot of predictable events it is enjoyable.
