I have been wanting to read this since discovering my favourite authors had other pen names, and while I enjoyed this I can understand why they have paused this series to prioritise their other series. This is a fun book, but I feel like we are missing so much backstory (which the triplets are also missing for the most part) and aside from the midly spicy scenes, this reads like YA instead of NA. I thought the illustrations were a fun addition though a couple of them could have been a bit less sketch-y

Lost Stars is a whole new amazing world of magic and love and adventure.
Centered around three siblings, each brings so much fun and depth to the story in their own way.
I could really see myself in Marion, a little bit of a control freak, feeling wholly responsible for the lives of her brother and sister, for focused on practicality and logic than fun or love. Her wit and her courage are admirable, and her interactions with Khalid are very amusing.
Timothee was a breath of fresh air. Its not often you read about a male MC that isnt the brawny handsome obvious hero. He is a bit of an airhead, but adorable! His relationship with the neighbor's cat made me literally laugh out loud at times.
Vivian is probably the most mysterious and the most motivated by love. Or at least, romantic love.
While the book is really fast paced, the world building is amazing and so visual and filled with lots of unexpected twists.

All the romances were very insta-love, considering it was set over a few days and by the end of it one of the sisters was all but declaring her love. Vivian was my favourite sibling. I couldn’t understand why it was the middle sister Marion taking charge of them all. Timothee was a sweet kid but i feel like we didn’t really get to know him well even though we had his POV.

AMAZING! I kept seeing this book recommended to me on TikTok and I was hesitant because I've been burned before, BUT...it was incredible! The pacing, the worldbuilding, the characters, all just absolutely amazing.

I love character-driven stories and the triplets, Vivian, Marion and Timothée are all interesting and complex characters. The side characters are also distinctive and memorable and I really think this world has the potential for a VERY long series (fingers-crossed!). I really like the triplets' approach to their respective love interests and romance. Each romantic subplot is rich with chemistry and has me in a constant state of squealing.

I pre-ordered the second book and am counting down the days until I get to read it. Jasmine Jenkins and Sophie Suliman, keep writing because I am in desperate need to keep living in this world!
