"This is an evil world, and sometimes I begin to think that all the wickedness in it is not entirely bottled up inside the dragons"
I found this story precious though the end rather lackluster. Nonetheless, this quote struck me as profound. I delighted in the conversations between the boy and dragon.

Was not terribly impressed, it was ok. Not something I would have enjoyed as a child.

Poor Boy. St. George and the dragon really put him through some stuff. He had to arrange so many things and had to stay up so late!

I listened to the audiobook, and loved the narrator! The story was cute, though had a couple spots where I questioned the judgment of descriptive terms. Ex. "whooping like a little red Indian". showed it was dated and might require some important discussions with children on why some descriptions are offensive. Otherwise, the story had a nice message and was pleasant to listen too!

I guess I thought this would be more interesting/entertaining? It was enjoyable, but that's about it.
