I loved this book. It isn't just about a cat. Its about the woman who found him and their relationship. I can't even bring words to this. It was beautiful and touched my heart. I cried harder than I have ever cried reading a book. I never had the pleasure of meeting Dewey but I can say I love him with all my heart.

A slower pace book than I'm used to, but it was interesting to hear about the library cat adventures and how he impacted the community. You got to hear a mix of happy, sad, and exciting stories. That ending hit hard though (likely because I was thinking about my own cat).

Tätä oli kiva lukea ja ymmärsin pitäväni MUISTELMISTA, se se genre ON!! Mutta ei tämä ole tarinankertojan tekemä kirja. Ihana kissa, mutta olisi voinut olla parempi kirja. Vähäeleinen eikä lainkaan rehentelevä tai ylpeilevä, kuten ilmeisesti iowalaiset konsanaan.
Ich bin durch den "Buchladen zum Verlieben" auf das Buch gekommen, da wird Dewey erwähnt, also dachte ich, das muss ich doch mal lesen, obwohl jetzt nicht soooo ein Katzenfan. Das Buch ist aber ganz nett, zeitweise ein bissle sehr amerikanisch von wegen "Giving to the community" und sowas, aber doch nett - und schliesslich ist das Ganze ja eine wahre Geschichte.
