I remember these as being very hit-or-miss.
What I've come to realize is that while I adore Gaiman's work for young adults, his writing for adults is more of a mixed bag for me. These stories were completely hit and miss for me.
Some startled me. Others disturbed me. A few disappointed me but none crashed my expectations
