Jen Wilkin has written a practical, useful guidebook on how to study Scripture and why it matters so much. After completing some of her Bible studies, it was good to read a more detailed explanation of how and why her studies are formatted as they are, and I appreciate the functionality of this book so much. I know it will be a well-used reference on my shelf for years and years to come.

This book is fantastic! A must-read. I've used various inductive Bible study methods before, but this was just so straightforward and clear. I've already started implementing the information.

"I believe there is nothing more transformative to our lives than beholding God in his Word. After all, how can we conform to the image of a God we have not beheld? (Wilkin 18)
I highly recommend this slim, straight-forward book by Jen Wilkin to any Scripture-reading ladies (or those wanting to get started reading scripture!). I found myself underlining line after line and learning practical tips for my time in the Word. Another reason I loved it is the English major nerd in me-- so many of Wilkin's suggestions are simply good reading strategies, but applied to how you read the most important text there ever was.

Highly recommend this book for any believer, but especially women who are committed to becoming more like Christ by studying the Word. (This should be every believer!) Wilkin describes the purpose and a process for Bible study in a way that is understandable, relatable, and attainable. After reading, I’m encouraged to attack my study time with more vigor and depth than before.
