What a journey this book has taken me on! I bought it about a year ago after it was recommended to me. I read the first chapter and didn’t understand it, so I put it away and it sat in the corner of my room for all this time.

But after a deep meditation experience I had the other week, this book popped into my head again. I found it in my room in the spot where I had last left it, and started to read. It made complete sense to me this time.

It felt like fate to me. Last month I was going through a tough time and I even have a journal entry from the day that I asked Jesus to help me see the world how he saw it when he was a human. Lo and behold, this book which was sitting in my room held all the answers this whole time. And after reading it, I have no doubt that he guided me to it, because I asked for his help. I have already ordered ACIM in the mail, and I am patiently waiting for it to arrive so that I can begin as a student of the Course! I am so grateful for everything this book has taught me, because without it I would have no idea about ACIM, and because of this book I now have the foundation for the concepts talked about in ACIM which will help me understand it so much better, when otherwise I probably would not.

Whoa! This book could really change your life. And it certainly reaffirms for me that A Course in Miracles (ACIM) is my favorite book of all time, and always will be. Could be a great intro to ACIM for interested folks. It also makes the point that ACIM is not Christian, so take its language as a metaphor. As so many people already know J did not want to start a religion. The answer to WWJD? has never been "start an organized religion." A pull-out quote in DU (this book) refers to the world needing another organized religion like it needs another hole in the ozone layer :-)

Heads it’s bullshit. Tails it’s truth. Either way, I’m giving it some stars.

This unremarkable guy Gary, opens his eyes one day after a meditation session to see two people sitting on his sofa, apparently having materialised out of thin air. Despite the strangeness he finds himself engaged in a conversation with them. And it is a fascinating conversation - the most interesting conversation I’ve ever read. At the end of the conversation they say they’ll be back, and then they disappear before his eyes. They visit him a total of 17 times and discuss many things and answer all his foolish questions. The book is mostly just a transcript of those conversations.
