I enjoyed it! Definitely worth reading if you learned of it through TikTok. I was in love with the premise and the cover art (twist out on fleek!) It made me smile and I love the humorous and carefree nature of the black female MC. The fact that her client/Grim Reaper is an Asian hunk also deserves bonus points.
The book was fun - the characters even the myster(ies) which I predicted several chapters early. I think the book would’ve been even better if the twists weren’t easily predictable but the journey is where it’s at I guess, am I right?
Halfway through it turned into the D*cking Down of Ms Joyce Ann Parker… Did not expect this erotic turn so quick but I was giggling throughout and now I can’t wait for the sequel and what lies

I really enjoyed this. There was a few points that annoyed me but they resolved pretty quick.
There was so much more to this than I was expecting. I went in thinking it would just be a cute little romance between a lawyer and the grim reaper but i was so wrong. I mean it’s that too but there is really in depth world building and a complicated but really good plot. It’s not predictable, there is a couple things that are but the overall thing is not.
The ending shocked me and I need the next book now, also how could you do that to me???
