Pretty informative but felt a bit outdated already. Frustrated with myself that I didn’t realize this was on early 19c/late 18c British Gothic but I guess I can’t blame the book. It’s a quick read and has a fairly comprehensive bibliography that I think I’ll find helpful so if you’re looking to learn a bit about gothic lit it’s not the worst choice!
