I got this book on a huge bookshop sale and I was intrigued by the premise of the story - looking for the long lost city of Atlantis. Unfortunately, the execution fell flat, in my opinion.
I got what the authors were trying to do, but the book was full of filler scenes that didn't bring much to the story. The best parts were the descriptions of the underwater world, and it really showed that Jacques and Pierre Mayol were divers and knew these waters really well. I also liked the little "paranormal" element, but the fillers that I mentioned before and the writing style just didn't make the story very engaging to me.
