Second time reading this, last time I didn't get to finish it as my attention span had been too short.

Fantastic art. I loved learning more about David, he was such a unique person and the drama that followed him...

Would recommend this to any music lover.

Just all in all it's a great graphic novel biography.

The artwork is really cool and fits well for the era they're covering for Bowie. I only marked it down since it's surprisingly dry on the text end. It's very much a well decorated timeline of Bowie's early life and performances. It left me wanting something a little different. It is clearly made with love with all the details within the artwork itself.

This is a real fan piece from Allred. Part of its appeal is the sense that this could be the fourteen-year-old Allred obsessing over his hero. It's a visual feast but a bit limited as a biographical study.

A biographical graphic novel telling of David Bowie's life and career from young adulthood thru just after the Ziggy Stardust years. I recommend this for any Bowie fan.
