the way i just cried the whole time
this series has been everything to me as someone also surrounded by a chosen family every single one just hits home even harder and tugs at my heart in the best way

This book was equally as magical as the rest of the books in this series. I already loved what I knew about Adam from Consider Me and Play With Me, and I loved getting to know him even better in his own book. And Rosie, there was just something about her that I immediately connected with and it was so easy to love her character too. These two together? It was a no brainer.
I did feel a bit questionable about the whole hidden identity trope and how it was gonna play out because it wasn't the strong communication that I like to read about. The unfolding of everything hurt my heart for both Rosie and Adam but it did make them stronger in the end and I got over my reservations quick enough. There was just so much to love about this book, Connor, Carter and Ollie and Ireland, Garrett and Jennie, Emmett and Cara, Jaxon, and of course the goodest doggos, Bear and Piglet. I was grinning so much through this whole book. I love this perfectly dysfunctional Vipers family in these books and I can't wait for more!

I don't normally love single-parent romances, but I love Adam Lockwood. This man is so dreamy and he treats Rosie and her son with SO much care. I would die for all the characters in this series and I am so excited for the next books.
