Hard for me to finish honestly. I could not make myself like the main character.

She pushes her baggage onto others and then blows up when her friend tells her that. She even tries to make him quit his job because of a guy she dislikes for literally no reason. She tells him that if he doesn’t quit they can’t be friends and then tries to act like nothing happened the next day and is confused when her friend is angry at her!

And then she doesn’t even properly apologize?? She just says they’ve “both been bad friends” uhh no. He didn’t really do anything wrong. She did. But they brush it aside like nothing happened.

I love love the biromantic asexual representation. I've never read about someone with my exact identity. Felicity's struggles with her identity are so similar to mine that I almost cried when she was talking about the difficulties of being ace. However, before the last hour of the book she is pretty inconsiderate and self-absorbed and I feel like there weren't any consequences for it. Like people weren't really mad about her taking over the entire wedding and not listening to what her mom wanted. I liked the book overall, but it could have been developed more. The main relationship definitely could have gotten more time after everything was resolved.

I really wanted to like this more than I did. Sweet, queer, Jewish romance. Unfortunately the main character's anxiety results in her having some pretty unhealthy relationships and it's never really addressed as something she needs to work on??
