Not my favorite of the 2000 series, but am interested in how things come together in Part 2...

This was horrendous. Messily paced and with the main character acting so insanely deluded the entire time (with a history of such behaviour) that it's no wonder he's never believed. The fact that his parents seem to barely own two brain cells to rub together and his younger sister is a distracting waste of space added nothing to the tension but everything to the aggravation of reading this book.
Upon the conclusion of the book, which ended with a "To Be Concluded..." tag line, no invasion had happened, nothing was revealed about what body squeezers are and the tension is so non-existent I don't even care to seek out Part 2.

I read this back in the day, and I was never given Part II. Restless, I'll wander this world, never knowing why the Body Squeezers came and if they succeeded.
