this was quite informative and i loved the moral of how we should avoid war and how to fight it if we must. it was also quite fun because it developed on the psychological aspects of it and how it effects the consequences of warfare and insubordination.

I’m not at war with someone nor am I a general that needs to fight against someone.
But overall some parts were kind of interesting and I got to know the basics of winning a war, so if you need to win a war gimme a ring and I’ll help u .
But most parts were boring af

Good, I can see why it’s so popular. Just didn’t apply to me in a lot of ways so I couldn’t fully relate to it. Not bad at all. Good, brief bits of wisdom that I’m sure others will appreciate more than I did.

a seminal treatise on military strategy whose seeming simplicity belies its remarkable sense and wisdom. the art of war also provides a great, concise--though a lil dense--summary to the basics of warfare, esp in the eastern canon. im happy i only picked this back up after like 4 yrs of incompletion, for if i had finished this earlier, i wouldnt get or appreciate it as much (w/ that said, thank you, the poppy war). nevertheless, this particular published edition does leave quite a lot to be desired in terms of production: there were formatting errors, countless glaring typos, and inaccuracies in the picture credits.
