I was VIBING with this book and thoroughly enjoying the dynamic and the mmc and the reverse grumpy/sunshine of it all… until the second AND third act breakups. It just felt forced by the end and I hate contrived drama, I think the author needed to pick one or the other but two breakups within 60 pages was just too much for me.

More like a solid 3.5. I found the FMC to be a bit insufferable in her suffering, but I liked the overall story and characters.

What a delightful read! I was head-over-heels for Henry from the start, and while Bennet took a little longer to charm me (you do have to cut her some slack), she eventually stole my heart. The way grief and depression are woven into the story is both gentle and genuine, creating a raw and heartfelt journey.
