Anne Dowling is witty & fierce, and puts nothing above finding the truth. She’s kind of like the elite version of Stevie from the Truly Devious series by Maureen Johnson. I’ll definitely go on to follow the rest of her adventures through the remaining books in the series.

Loved this! I haven't read such a compelling YA mystery in a long time, much more suspenseful than I expected!

This was such a fun read. The heroine is kick ass. Set aside whatever preconceived notions you have this is not a Gossip Girl/Pretty Little Liars hybrid.

Don't let the title fool you! This engaging and exciting tale of intrigue and murder is much more than a teen soap opera. Too bad the author uses the word "shit" four times and has allusions to drinking or I would love to recommend this modern day Nancy Drew tale to my students. I guess I will have to pass my copy along to my friends of a more mature age.

I demand a cover change. Most misleading cover of all time. I like it for what it is but it does not relate to the true contents of this book!

One of the most intricate and well paced mysteries I've read, I actually ridiculously loved this. The plot was well thought out and not too much foreshadowing was giving away. I didn't guess who it was until near the end which is always a key quality in a mystery novel. If you think it's all fluff: BITCH PLEASE. PAUSE. Read it, and realize at some point you might be actually getting a few chills from how the novel was set up to introduce the story to us. The tension was well maintain and good curveballs thrown in.

But I mean the fluff that is there is in perfect balance with everything else. Anne is hilarious at points and just good old teenage prep school girl.
