Anna's entire review was "Are you looking for a lesbian fake dating holiday romance?" and you know what, I WAS. This was the perfect thing for the romcom craving I knew would strike on my Christmas vacation, when I thought I wouldn't have time to watch a movie all in one go. And I read it nearly all in one sitting.

Minor: Deadnaming, Transphobia, Racism, and Homophobia
Old southern grandma acts as you would expect with brief mentions of transphobia, homophobia, and racialized stereotyping. The behavior is called out and not tolerated. Very minor plot point but worth noting.asstreads's review

I wanted an easy, comfortable, and fun read, and that's exactly what I got in this book. I liked the family and Fiona and Lizzie's dynamic and I loved Fiona and Michael's friendship a lot, but I wasn't much a fan of the pacing.

KL Hughes is one of my favorite authors. This book was fantastic...from start to finish....The McElroy siblings were so much fun!! The romance between Fiona and Lizzie was adorable. I guess it could be considered a slow burn romance. They were so cute!! This is a really excellent holiday romance that was a lot of fun to read!

i liked the middle more than the beggining or the end. as an asian, loved how the author tackled the casual racism.
