Not as novel as the 1st book in the series, but it is still captivating.
While not quite as good as the first book in the series this was a pretty entertaining listen. Not as much action but more intrigue and diplomacy. Simon Vance, as always, did a wonderful job with the narration.
Another great distraction listen. Need a break from the world this is a wonderful way to do it.
Really haven’t been feeling picking this one up. So setting it aside for now. Will def finish reading it one day tho. The slow pace just isn’t working for me at the moment.
The Napoleonic Wars plus dragons. Fantastic. Nicely written, great characters, both human and dragon. Zac loves them, too. His Majesty’s Dragon, Throne of Jade, Black Powder War, Empire of Ivory, Victory of Eagles.

This was such a great follow up! I love that they're starting to get into how dragons are treated and whether they are sentient beings. The Chinese politics were interesting and it was great to see how hard a voyage was in those days. Fun book!
