While the climax isn't wow, it is a well-written and well structured novel. Surrounding the death of a professor, there are multiple narratives and plots working against each other, with the constant question raised throughout about who is telling the truth. Good, not perfect first novel.

I received this book from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book so many twists and turns, and made for a great page turner.

So many reviews say that they sat up and read this all night - i didnt, and I sort of got lost at times.

I was fine with the first half of the book, and then the characters change, which was really good - I enjoy books with different perspectives, but I got a bit confused with the character names.

That being said, the book built suspense and had a strong emphasis on memory, I'm a psych grad, and I found this aspect really interesting. It demonstrates the validity of eyewitness accounts.

I hate books with a real cliffhanger, and this book answered about 90% of your questions, but left you thinking about the rest.

Well written, likeable characters and a fun read!

Romania. A well written thriller/mystery, with plenty of unreliable narration and an interesting mystery to unravel

The story in itself was quite interesting and the way it bounced around versions of itself was entertaining. I did find the whole conclusion of it all a bit rushed and lacking, however it was an enjoyable book.
