Absolutely loved it! I love how there was more insight from Dom’s pov
By the time Sean’s chapter hit I was making animal noises. Inconsolable.

I loved being in Dom’s POV and learning how much he cared for the others around him. It hit extra hard because you know his fate in the end. I do think this could have been just as impactful maybe even more so if this was a novella.
When I first heard about this book coming out in 2023 I immediately marked it on my calendar to read it the day it came out.
However that date came and went and I just couldn't bring myself to pick it up. If you've read the Ravenshood trilogy you know why I needed time to emotionally prepare myself to put myself back into the world.
I can't say much about the plot without ruining things but I do say if you haven't read the Ravenshood trilogy please stop and read that before continuing with this book.
5 stars.

Heartbreak is an Understatement
I went in know this would hurt but did not expect to be a broken mess by the end. Kate Stewart did brilliant with this Novel. I appreciated the insight we got from these POVs even though it gutted me. This book and these characters will stick with me for a long time!

Well Kate once again broke my heart. The last chapter from Dom just had me crying over everything. This series is nothing short of a masterpiece that really makes you feel, recall your own memories, your own boys of summer, your loves and your losses.
I have to say and everyone has said go in blind on the Ravenhood series. Clearly you won’t go in blind on the Ravenhood legacy series, but you will feel all the heartbreak again…especially with OLRD.
Sleep le petit Prince.

This made me sob. But I was also bored most of jt. So take with that what you will. I felt like it could’ve been a LOT shorter.

One Last Rainy Day by Kate Stewart felt like curling up with a blanket on a rainy afternoon. It was emotional but also so full of warmth and heart. The story pulled me in right away, and I finished it feeling really touched and satisfied. A beautiful, comforting read. I'm so glad we have Dom's pov. I'm crying all over again!
