SOBBING

This book broke me all over again while simultaneously healing me. I will never recover from how Dominic's storyline played out in Exodus, but this additional insight helped immensely.

Thank you, Kate!

😫💔😭
This was me through this whole book because I knew what was coming. I was just sad 😔.
However, I am so glad we got a little bit more of Dom!! I loved getting to see this story from his POV and learning more about him and what he was thinking and feeling, or trying not to feel. Oh Dom, you have my whole heart!

In my healing era after this book...

This book was everything I needed after the trilogy. As a girl who was an instant Dom girl, this book was everything. Sweet, beautiful, broken Dom. To hear his words healed parts of me, but also solidified just how much I loved this man. It brought words to the part of the story I think we all needed. I think a friend said it best when she told me yesterday, "anyone who doesn't read this book after finishing the trilogy is doing this series a disservice," and she was so right. Dom needed this moment to shine. Did it break me all over again? Absolutely. Probably worse this time around.

And to hear Joe and Maxine narrate this book together was perfect. I really have no words. I genuinely don’t think there are words powerful enough to capture the depth of this performance. Anything I say will just fall short.

That's really all I can say without busting into tears again.

If you’ve already had your heart broken by this beautiful series and you haven’t read this book, I highly recommend it. If you haven’t started this series at all, buckle up. Have tissues. And when you finally make it to The Finish Line, just know you’ll never be the same again.
