Anyone else here find Tobias unforgivable? I read this before the last in the main trilogy and it hasn't done anything to improve my view of the French bastard.
A bit choppy in the beginning and hard to follow. I think 100 fewer pages would have bumped my enjoyment up and I wouldn't be able to sign off on the assertion that Dom's constantly flip flopping feelings improved his overall character development in any way.
Overall, I'm still hooked for the last book in the trilogy. Just waiting for my turn at the library.

It’s not what I expected from his thoughts, but it was more heartbreaking.
Dom chose Tobias. Tobias chose Cecelia. I don’t think that makes him any better. Dom tried and failed to have it all. Tobias preemptively lit the match.
Dom manifested his tragic untimely end. But I liked the nontraditional ending.
