I'll be honest, I find J.P. Delaney books to be very stressful to read. I almost didn't read this one because I find books where children are kidnapped, go missing, or are in some way contested (for lack of a better word), to be extremely stressful and less fun. I picked it up because Delaney has always delivered in the past despite stressing me out!! So I am giving this three stars because this author has once again delivered a page-turning, suspenseful read with a satisfying ending. But if you are looking for light escapism, this isn't it.

A fast paced intriguing thriller that'll keep you hooked until the last page, I enjoyed this read. A complete stranger walks into a man's life and lets him know his son isn't really his, and what follows is a psychotic family drama that'll have you biting your nails with an ending that won't disappoint you in the least.
Such a great book! Kept me on my seat the entire time. I can’t even imagine, as a parent, having to go through something like this. Definitely a good read if you’re looking for a psychological thriller!
