I LOVED THIS BOOK!! had me hooked from the beginning! i am so excited to tread the next books!!
adventurous emotional mysterious reflective tense fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated
slow-paced

It's not bad but I probably won't finish this series.

Loved it! definately a society different than we live

I liked this book! The ending was the best! It is very similar to Delirium except love is not seen as a disease. However, the people are matched according to what they like and everything in their lives is chosen for them. I love Cassia and Ky's relationship because it's kind of forbidden in a way. I think this book taught me to fight for who you are and not to let anyone control you. I think that's why I love dystopians so much. It is because in every story has lessons that inspire our lives whether it has similar plots or not. The lesson I learned from this book is don't let anyone control what you are suppose to do in your life. Make sure you live your life the way you want to live it and by nobody else's standards. It was slow in some parts which made me want to stop reading it for a while for 3.5/5 stars. I would read the next two books to see how it continues.
mysterious reflective medium-paced

Been wanting to read this for a while. Just cause after watching the recent Hunger Games prequel I got into a YA Dystopia crave. This book was good. I vaguely remember reading maybe a chapter or two when I was in middle school like 9 years ago.

It was mainly world building didn't get to see cassia and xanders relationship build at all considering it was a main focus, but the build up between ky and cassia was enjoyable and realistic (slow-burning. With relatable decisions) I think the second one is going to be alot better.

Such an interesting, fascinating book it is.
If you read it, I'm sure you won't be disappointment.
I realized that I really like reading fantastic novels with this book.
Ally Condie, thank you so much.
