Good book about post-apocolyptic times in which the government, the Society, takes control of everything. They control how much you eat, where you work and who you love. The book is about potentially rebelling against the Society.. or maybe the Society is experimenting? It's a good read about true love (or is it?) and the characters desire to be together.

It was really slow at the beginning, but it picked up towards the last half of the book. i see why everyone is putting up a big fuss about it, but in my opinion, it just another forbidden love story. thought i do like it because it's set in the dystonpia setting. It reminded me of The Giver.
