A great science fiction novel - This still holds up after 110+ years.

Read about half and felt indifferent. Turned on the audiobook for the second half which made it soooo much more engaging.

Vikas Adam should win a Grammy for his performance reading this book. So enjoyable!!!!

Not a bad storyline, just not my cup of tea. A little too slow to keep me super interested and turning the pages. I only finished it because I hate not finishing books and it's a classic so I figured I should give it a chance. I prefer my science fiction with more action, not just someone hiding in a hole for 2 weeks. :-/

Interesting alien story, definitely not a bad read. I, however, still have difficulty with reading "older" English, which is why I gave it just three stars. I'm not sure if I understood the story well enough, and it was not always really easy to plow through. Nonetheless I enjoyed it!

short, and fun to be able to recognize all the voices
