This was ok, not great, but not terrible either. Just ok.

An interior designer is interviewing to design a hotel for the first time as her business is falling apart. After a memorable NYE in NY, she has the interview and is hired.

The hotel is the first solo venture for the son of a hotel empire, and he is getting his time to shine. They have to work together, etc.

Nothing special. Not a lot of laughs, and maybe 1.5 on the steam. A solid 3.

Sarcasm and heart

Usually I’m not a fan of enemies to lovers tropes because I don’t believe that people can change like that. However I fell in love with the banter and tension between Greer and Trent. They both come to their “relationship” with so much baggage that it’s easy to see why they don’t get along in the beginning. It was fun to see how they worked their their issues alone and together.

The story was entertaining, but the last 20% is such a cliché, I just knew what was going to happen even before I read it.
This book is literally that - it's not you, it's me.
It's just not for me.
