This book has like 4 scenes really similar to some I read in "Wait for It" by Mariana Zapata, but I still enjoyed reading it.

It had all the tropes I loved - single parents, grumpy/sunshine, strong female lead (gosh, she has been through a lot). But, the pacing/plot was a But weird and felt rushed at some stages. The conflict (i.e. Tom or Aaron) also felt incomplete. Garrett was also a bit of a dick. Like, I do enjoy grumpy, but he was full on mean to her and making assumptions. But, he did turn out all right when he defended her and found out everything. I loved Jamie though. Idk, this was all right read.
