Add in another 13 amazing stories of tree house and three or is that four background stories and you end up with an action packed tale of three friends. There is so much going on and some really amazing ideas. Still not the greatest fan of Andy but am enjoying Jill’s greater roll in this book. Great for keeping your tykes engaged.

Reasons why 26 is twice as good as 13:

Ice skating penguins.
Edward scoop-hands the ice-cream robot.
Bacon ice-cream
Sharks with zippers.
Stinky pirates.
Stinky cheese-fishes ( or is it fish-cheeses?)

The audiobooks for this series are brilliant & a great idea when travelling long distances in the car! I enjoyed this as much as the kids. Very funny. I think the second book was even better than the first.

So here's what happens when you are skidding into December, trying to finish your Popsugar Challenge. You don't have time to overthink or pre-judge by cover/genre/intended audience - you just grab something that fits the prompt and GO! and then you discover all kinds of groovy shit your January/February/March reading self would not have looked twice at, and you enjoy the hell out of it.
There are a whole series of these and they are super clever and fun. :-)

I give this book a 3.5 since I feel it was a shade less magical than The 13-Storey Treehouse. I am not sure why, perhaps it bordered on too ridiculous for me. But hey, I am not the book's target audience! My test-reader, my son, was equally enamoured of it and I will surely proceed to pre-order The 39-Storey Treehouse. This book tells fantastical stories of how Andy and Terry met, and boy, are you in for a ride!!!
