I don’t get the hype of this book. There were two cool scenes in this book and other than that I did not understand the motif character building and character dynamics, wrapping my head around the fact that there’s so many different names of the world and the places and the characters and the species etc.. It was just a little bit confusing. but after you get into it, it’s OK. It just starts off a little bit bit slow.

I really don’t understand how this book got to be so popular. I found it slow and boring. The end was interesting. But fairly obvious. And the characters were annoying.

Addiction alert: The contents of this book are addictive. Once read, there are more than 100% chances that you’re going to get obsessed.

I couldn’t have asked for a better book, seriously! This is so damn good and probably one of the best books I’ve EVER read. As someone who loves fantasy, this is absolute treasure. The tension between the characters and their chemistry is SUPERB. And the plot? Literally, it’s perfect. Not even a thing to change. I can’t even wait to complete the trilogy now. Holly Black has successfully become an autobuy author for me!
