Life; Select difficulty mode: 12 kids - hard mode.

God: make 6 of the children schizophrenic in a time when mental health is blamed on bad parenting.

Super ultra hard modeACTIVATED.

Wow, what a book. Very heavy material on schizophrenia, sexual abuse and family dynamics but a very engaging and educational read. Loved the tie throughout the book of the Hidden Valley Road House and exploration of nature vs nurture. I also cannot stop thinking about how until recently one main theory was schizophrenia was thought to be a result of poor mothering. Misogyny runs deep.
