It’s been a hot minute since I read the book so this was like a blast from the past for me. Though, it kind of dragged on. Kind of failed to keep the momentum I remember the book having.

Honestly, a decent story. I found some of the repetitive sentence structure, and the repetitive "naw" grating, though.

This was a fun take on a book series I've already read and enjoyed. It's always interesting to see characters you pictured in your mind when reading. I really liked the art style and Anita's usual sass. I got it from my library and won't be buying these...sadly my library only has volume 1 so I probably won't be continuing.

I haven't read the books, and I found this graphic novel confusing. I liked the artwork, and I think by the end I understood the overall story, but there were definitely things that confused me and interactions that were too short to establish the storyline.

It was alright. It was nice to see what Hamilton thought the characters should look like and it wasn't too ridiculous but the story wasn't amazing and I guess the newer ones have more nuance in them (the stories that is, I've not read the other graphic novels). Worth giving a go though - I like that you can access these stories in a different medium. :)

Oh man...I thought I was going to like this thing...I mean, it has a lot going for it with vampires, zombie summoning and rats and all, but it was just unreadable. A couple of times I found myself reading a page 2 or 3 times to try and make sense of what was going on. Felt too much like work rather than relaxing with a good horror comic.

I read this for Vaginal fantasy. It wasn't as great as I'd hoped. Anita starts out bitter and awesome and doesn't really grow from that. The voice is so great tho. I hear it gets better as it goes along, but I don't know if I want to continue it. We'll see.
