An epic fantasy journey where Troian Aurum grapples with being the crowned heir to an entire kingdom and running away from it all. Unfortunately circumstances arise and she doesn’t get the chance to do either. She has to save the only love she’s ever known by traveling to places she’s never been. She learns a lot along the way and meets people that she’s not quite sure are friend are foe.
This story is entertaining from the very first page. I needed to know what happens to Troian and everyone involved in her story. I was not prepared for some of the reveals that come in this one. If you’re going in with expectations then wipe them away, because Amelia Oliver is going to do things you’d never expect. Such a great read and for her first fantasy novel she did an amazing job!!
